The Employment Equality (Age) Regulations came into effect on 1st October, with most commentators predicting serious implications for the workplace and an upturn in employment litigation as both younger and older employees seek to take advantage of their new rights. 36 Bedford Row has been at the forefront of preparations for the new regime having followed the development for the new regulations through the legislative process.
