Called to the Bar in 1997 Jonathon Rushton practice includes all aspects of residential and commercial property, environment, planning, PFI project work and local government law. He litigates and advises across a broad range of issues and has developed a reputation for reliable and practical advice to both public and private sector clients, including local authorities, housing associations, leaseholders, tenants and the homeless. 

He appears in the High Court and domestic tribunals covering both civil and criminal regulation, including statutory nuisance and regulatory offences. Other areas of practice include neighbour disputes, general land law and contractual claims in the County Court.
