A specialist in :
1. Crime with specific expertise in fraud/money laundering. Presently representing KM in R v SB and others (Op Vex) accused of involvement in a massive MTIC fraud, causing a loss of approximately £90 million to the taxpayer.
2. Regulatory/disciplinary work.
He represents health professionals including Optomerists, Dentists and Doctors and presently represents a Consultant Professor who faces allegations relating to plagiarism with respect to publication of research medical journal articles.
He possesses an in–depth knowledge of terrorism offences and long experience of “Honour Killing” crime; recently defending JD in the Southall murder of Geeta Aulukh. He is regularly invited as a keynote speaker at Terrorism legislation, Honour Crime and Hate Speech crime seminars.
On the 31st March 2011 he was elected as the President of the Association of United Kingdom Muslim Lawyers.
