PROFILE
Asylum / Immigration
Having previously practised at the Bar in Crime, Philip joined the Refugee Legal Centre in 1999 to focus solely on Refugee Law. He then moved to Sutovic & Hartigan in 2000 and took on a broader range of immigration work, advising and representing on Work Permit, Nationality, Settlement, Student and Marriage applications while maintaining his asylum practice. Since joining 36 Bedford Row in January 2003, Philip has acted in Asylum and Immigration cases both on Appeal and by way of Judicial Review, at the Immigration Judge level through to the House of Lords.
