36 Bedford Row is delighted to announce that Amjad Malik and Jonathan Kirk have been appointed Queen's Counsel in the new 2010 competition.
Amjad Malik
specialises in both prosecution and defence of the most serious criminal offences. Having spent recent years as a leading junior on numerous high profile cases on the Midland Circuit, his hard work and professionalism have led to his success and reputation, which has culminated in this prestigious award.
Jonathan Kirk is an experienced prosecutor of organised crime, specialising in money laundering and confiscation. He has prosecuted several of the UK’s most successful POCA operations since 2003, including Operations Lucky, Mug, Chillerton and Clawback. He is one of the youngest criminal practitioners to have been appointed Queen's Counsel at the Bar.
