Chambers announce Brian Escott Cox QC’s retirement from the bar with effect from 31st December 2009. Mr Escott Cox QC has had a truly wonderful career: 55 years at the Bar, 35 of them in Silk at the top of the profession, 20 years as a Recorder, Bencher of his Inn and Deputy High Court Judge. As he himself would say "It has been a fantastic gig".
Chambers wishes Mr Escott Cox QC every joy in his retirement.
